UFSIN OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION IN THE ULYANOVSK REGION REPORTS:
In order to prevent the spread of the disease among suspects, accused and convicted persons, as well as employees of the penal system of the Russian Federation, the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Ulyanovsk region issued a decree «On the introduction of additional sanitary and anti-epidemic (preventive) measures aimed at reducing the risks of entering and preventing the spread of a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) ».
In accordance with the decision of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor from 21.06.2021 and until a special order in the institutions and detention centers of UFSIN of the Russian Federation in the Ulyanovsk region long and short visits are suspended (except for short visits with lawyers and other persons providing legal assistance to suspects, accused and convicted persons).
In order to prevent the entry and spread of diseases caused by the new coronavirus, a set of sanitary and anti-epidemic (preventive) measures is organized and implemented in the institutions of UFSIN of the Russian Federation in the Ulyanovsk region.
Persons with fever and (or) with visible signs of acute respiratory disease are strictly forbidden to be admitted to prisons in the region.
Packages and parcels are accepted in the institutions in accordance with the schedule of the room for receiving packages, but with the mandatory observance of sanitary-epidemiological (preventive) measures.
Restrictive measures are introduced in all correctional institutions and pre-trial detention centers of UFSIN of the Russian Federation in the Ulyanovsk region: CC-2, CC-3, CC-4, CC-8, CC-9, CC-10, KP-1, KP-5, SIZO-1, SIZO-3, Prison.
We ask the relatives of suspects, accused and convicted persons to treat with understanding to the introduction of restrictive measures. A video-visit and phone-call service is available to communicate with relatives in penitentiary institutions.
The cancellation of restrictive measures will be reported additionally on the official website of UFSIN of the Russian Federation in the Ulyanovsk region.
